MAKANDIWA'S OIL: Thousands queue for Makandiwa’s anointing oil

Thousands of people yesterday thronged the United Family International Church in Chitungwiza to receive the long-awaited anointing oil from Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa.
Makandiwa announced the coming of the oil at an event dubbed “Judgment Night 2” in April this year.
But he was pipped to releasing the oil by arch-rival Prophet Walter Magaya of Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries who gave out his own anointing oil to an equally large crowd a few weeks ago.

Anxious congregants started arriving at the UFIC site around 6am yesterday.
Speaking before distributing the oil, Prophet Makandiwa said he had procured ordinary olive oil which he then blessed to give it the anointing power and it was now a channel of grace that could free people from various burdens.

He then supported his words with scripture from the book of Isaiah which talks of burdens and yokes being destroyed because of the anointing. He also made claims about the power of the oil.

“The anointing oil unlocks all the doors of impossibilities in one’s life. It will lubricate your lives and things will start moving smoothly,” Prophet Makandiwa said.
Just like Magaya before him and other countless prophets, Makandiwa claimed that his oil can cure HIV and AIDS, cancer and different ailments.

“After this oil touches your body, all diseases will go, even HIV and AIDS. Death will also go. The power to cure these diseases is not coming from me but from God, for the oil contains so much power that is even too much for me,” he said.

Medical experts have repeatedly advised people against stopping taking chronic illness medication after unverified claims of miraculous healing.
A South African family has attempted to sue Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of Christ Embassy for the death of a woman who succumbed to tuberculosis after defaulting on treatment based on her faith that she had been healed during the pastor’s Night of Bliss event in that country.

Prophet Makandiwa emphasised that people should get tested first and be sure of their diseases which would then be cured by the oil which is not for sale.
“People should not sell the oil because the moment money is involved, the anointing power is taken away.

“If you come across fake oil being sold on the black market, put it on, (and) you don’t feel anything then it is not the holy oil. That is how powerful this oil is.”
In an apparent dig at Prophet Magaya who has been advertising his oil in the media, Makandiwa said that he did not advertise the oil for fear of stampedes.

He said he did not want a situation where non-church members who do not follow his teachings would come and grab the oil first which can also cast out demons before UFIC members get it. Several testimonies were given by congregants who claimed that the oil had already worked miracles in their lives.
